I have a plumbing emergency, what should I do?

If you’re unable to locate the water valve to turn off, then you may want to try turning on all the cold taps inside and outside your home to depressurise the system and minimise the leak.

While waiting, clear away any significant possessions from the area, and clean up any water or position a container to catch the drips. If you’ve turned the mains water off, switch off the hot water heating as well.
