I have a plumbing emergency, what should I do?

What do you do when a plumbing emergency arises? The very first thing is to ensure it's safe, and hopefully not getting even worse. Electricity and water do not combine safely, so if you need to, turn the mains switch off at the power panel.

If there is still water leaking, turn off the water to the appliance or fixture if you can, or go immediately to the main valve for your home. If you’re unable to locate the tap to turn off, then you could try turning on all the cold taps inside and outside your home to depressurise the pipework and minimise the leak.

Once that is sorted, give us a call, no matter what the day or time is. We will be with you shortly to resolve the problem.
